About this skill

Problem

Career confusion, uncertain pivots/promotions/entrepreneurship, and difficulty turning capabilities into positioning are common planning problems. This skill avoids generic conversation by evaluating high value × high advantage separately, reducing “hard work but low return” and “opportunity but no edge” bias.

How It Works

  • Conversational intake: asks about current state, strengths, market value, direction, and constraints, with 1-2 questions at a time.
  • Strength validation: extracts real strengths via 3P (Pattern/Peak/Pull), scoring each 1-5.
  • Quadrant mapping: places strengths into sweet spot, opportunity gap, hard persistence, and drift zones to identify transferable directions.
  • Report output: produces positioning snapshot, matrix analysis, main/transfer/long-term directions, 0-3/3-6/6-12 month action path, risks, and immediate next steps.

Boundaries

Best for users with a concrete career pain point and willingness to answer follow-ups. It keeps options few and avoids template reports when evidence is thin. It is not a recruiter, legal counsel, or therapist, and does not guarantee job outcomes.

Use Cases

  • Evaluate whether to pivot or stay by mapping effort, strengths, and promotion value.
  • Convert B2B government and enterprise sales experience into a consulting positioning.
  • Turn data and domain experience into a paid offer with a 12-month action path.
  • Clarify career bottlenecks and identify transferable strengths through structured follow-ups.

Best For

  • Senior operators stuck in promotion cycles, seeking to compare deepening versus role change.
  • B2B sales professionals exploring independent work and productized client relationship services.
  • Engineers with strong technical skills but unclear direction, seeking product or consulting paths.
  • Product managers preparing to start companies, needing validation of high-value high-strength fit.
