About this skill

What Problem Does It Solve?

The core pain points for non-legal professionals are information asymmetry and procedural barriers. Users often don't understand the nature of their legal relationship, cannot accurately cite statutes, and struggle to draft a civil complaint that meets court requirements for filing and trial. This skill acts as a structured AI assistant, providing professional guidance and standardized document generation.

Core Capabilities and Workflow

Based on the current effective laws of the People's Republic of China, this skill offers two core functional modules.

1. Structured Legal Consultation
The consultation follows a five-step methodology, mirroring an attorney's preliminary analysis:
- Fact Sorting: Organizes the user's colloquial description into key legal factual elements.
- Legal Characterization: Identifies the dispute as a contractual dispute, tort liability, or other legal relationship.
- Statute Retrieval: Cites accurate provisions (e.g., Article 577 of the Civil Code), with optional API cross-verification.
- Analysis and Reasoning: Performs element-of-proof and liability analysis.
- Practical Advice: Provides actionable guidance on evidence, procedure, and risk.
The process includes a built-in Logic Doctor self-check to ensure accuracy of citations and reasoning.

2. Intelligent Structured Complaint Drafting
For drafting complaints, the skill employs a standardized pipeline:
- Intelligent Case Type Identification: Automatically matches the case to one of 11 standard types like private lending dispute or labor dispute, or switches to a universal template.
- Structured Information Prompt: Asks for missing key information like plaintiff, defendant, claims, and facts in one go.
- Template-Driven Population: Calls the corresponding .md template for the case type and uses Python (requiring the python-docx library) to populate the structured tables, generating a ready-to-submit .docx file.
- Checklist and Output: Performs an 11-point self-check before output, with files named as Case Type-Plaintiff v. Defendant.docx.

Scope and Important Considerations

This is a tool-based skill with clear functional boundaries:
- Domain Limitation: Focuses on civil and commercial legal consultation and complaint drafting. For criminal defense, administrative litigation, complex cross-border matters, or cases requiring court appearance, it is advisable to consult a practicing attorney.
- Not a Legal Representative: It provides analytical opinions and draft documents but does not replace formal legal opinions or representation services from a licensed lawyer.
- Dependency on Input: Output quality strictly depends on the information provided by the user. When facts are vague or contradictory, the skill will ask for clarification rather than fabricate details.
- Legal Updates: While it contains a built-in knowledge base and can attempt to call official APIs, users should always verify against the latest official texts.

Use Cases

  • As a sole proprietor, you signed a sales contract with a client who now owes payment. You describe the situation to the skill, seeking a quick legal analysis on claiming liquidated damages and the statute of limitations.
  • You have a dispute with your landlord over the return of a rental deposit and need to draft a complaint. By providing key contract details, the skill helps you identify the case type and generates a structured complaint document.
  • As a legal assistant, you need to handle a labor dispute for your company but are unsure if the employee's claimed compensation calculation is correct. You use the skill to look up the relevant provisions of the Labor Contract Law for verification.
  • You were injured in a traffic accident where the other party was fully at fault but refuses compensation. You use the skill to generate a complete complaint for a motor vehicle traffic accident liability dispute to prepare for court filing.

Best For

  • Individual operators or small business owners: Need to handle common civil and commercial legal issues like contract breaches and rental disputes, seeking clear legal advice and support in drafting complaints.
  • Ordinary citizens facing neighborhood disputes, divorce property division, or private lending recovery: Confronted with specific legal disputes, they want to understand their rights and obligations and prepare litigation materials.
  • Corporate legal or administrative staff: Responsible for initially handling employee labor disputes and contract reviews, needing to quickly query legal bases and draft standard legal documents.
  • Freelancers or startup team members: Need to independently deal with project contract disputes or preliminary legal consultations on intellectual property without fixed in-house legal support.
