Long DSH Web conversations make it painful to scroll back to the question you asked two or ten turns ago, especially when tool calls, context injections, and compaction markers fill the scroll between your prompts. dsh-conversation-jump replaces the single built-in "to bottom" button with a compact rail of four circular buttons floating at the right edge, just above the composer: To Top, Previous, Next, and To Bottom. Each click lands precisely on your previous or next user message.

What sets it apart from sibling plugins is granularity. Where others draw minimaps, tables of contents, or inline anchors, this plugin navigates one user message at a time. Process nodes such as tool calls, context injections, and compaction markers are skipped entirely, so "Previous" always means your last question, not the last DOM block. If the target sits outside the loaded window, the plugin locates the host's own "load older" control, clicks it, and polls the anchor count until the list grows before scrolling into place.

The interaction is considered: the rail stays hidden by default, appears when upward scroll velocity exceeds 200 px/s, and fades after three seconds of inactivity or any downward scroll. The target message settles roughly 1/12 from the top of the viewport for comfortable reading. A 100 ms self-healing sample re-creates the style node if a fiber re-apply strips it, so dev-mode HMR rebuilds never leave the rail unstyled. Everything is page-memory only—no localStorage, IndexedDB, or backend state—and all timers and listeners are cancelled on unload.
