The pricing engine splits time into three tiers, each carrying its own per-token prices: legacy rates, the post-flash-cutdown off-peak window, and weekday peak hours. Spend routed to different models within a single turn is attributed to each model separately. Vision tokens in the session are tracked and estimated following the official DeepSeek scaling rules. The pill also surfaces your account balance, auto-refreshing every five minutes; a click forces an instant sync and spins the coin icon for visual confirmation.
