About this plugin

Hours of terminal work with agents blur together until you look up at 1 a.m. with a stiff neck and a forgotten lunch. dsh-wellness is a lightweight health-reminder plugin that quietly monitors your local dsh sessions and, when a nudge is due, asks an idle agent to send you an ordinary in-conversation message without interrupting any running turn.

Two capabilities do the heavy lifting. First, meal and sleep reminders fire at configurable 24-hour times (defaults: 08:00, 12:00, 18:00, 23:00); each slot can be adjusted or disabled, fires at most once per day within a target window, and never interrupts a live agent turn. Second, an active-work break tracker accumulates consecutive working time whenever any dsh session has a running agent; after a configurable span (default 120 minutes) it asks an agent to prompt you to stretch, then enters a 20-minute cooldown so it does not nag.

It is built for developers who spend long stretches in DeepSeek Harness multi-turn agent conversations. No push channel or OS notification is required. Just keep one idle session open and the reminders arrive naturally in your chat flow, like a colleague casually reminding you it is time to eat.

Use Cases

  • Stretch and move after long agent sessions
  • Remember to eat during late-night coding
  • Take a break after two focused hours of work

Best For

  • Developers who live in the terminal day to day
  • Engineers running long DeepSeek Harness agent sessions
  • Anyone working at a pace that makes them forget to eat and move
