dsh-widget-center turns persistent desktop widgets into a first-class citizen inside DSH. Instead of hunting through browser tabs for a quick glance at an A-share ETF, a HK stock, or a crypto pair, and instead of spinning up a separate notes app, each widget instance is a standalone native macOS window (NSPanel + WKWebView) running in its own process with an independent lifecycle—it survives DSH restarts, float above regular windows, and stay out of each other's way.

The experience is built on two layers. On the desktop, every instance is freely draggable, with a type-aware right-click menu for pinning, refreshing, resetting size, or closing. Market-quote instances enjoy multi-source fallback (tencent, eastmoney, sina, yahoo, binance), session-aware throttling, sparkline mini-charts, pre/post-market badges, and stale warnings; note instances poll settings every 30 seconds so text edits appear live without reopening the window. In the settings UI, the Widget Center page manages all instances through a card list, a type picker, and a full detail editor; changes are PUT in one shot, creates and deletes persist instantly, and the host hot-applies changes while surviving restarts. A built-in Type Studio session pipeline lets you draft a brand-new widget type entirely in natural language, with no Swift required.

Shares instances can also expose a market_quote model tool, so in any DSH conversation you can simply ask the agent for a live quote and receive a timestamped, normalized result—all via free public endpoints, zero tokens, with proxy retries and disk-cache fallback. Ideal for developers and traders who want desktop-grade market monitoring, lightweight stickies, or seamless public market data woven into their DSH workflow.
