Juggling several DeepSeek Harness sessions at once, the hardest part is rarely the code itself but figuring out which tab actually needs you. dsh-tab-watchdog solves exactly that: it turns the browser favicon into a little sentinel whale that blinks green when a session finishes a work round and yellow when something errors out or waits for your approval, question, or plan-review. The tab title mirrors the overall pending count across every session, so even if you wander off to another window, the whale keeps blinking until you come back and clear it.

The watchdog covers all sessions in the app, not just the one in view. Completion and error signals arrive via real-time event forwarding; approvals, questions, and plan reviews are caught by polling the application own pendingInteractions snapshot, so a blink dies the moment you answer and no manual reset is needed. When a session restarts its pending entry is dropped automatically, and an error entry stays locked in yellow and will not silently downgrade later. Nothing on the page is altered: the original favicon is captured on load and always restored the instant you refocus or the queue empties.

It is built for heavy users who keep multiple workspaces running in parallel and step away for stretches at a time. There are no settings, no per-session toggles to configure. Install the plugin, restart dsh web, and the watchdog activates on the next browser load. It survives restarts and F5 refreshes, unlike a dynamic Creator-mode plugin.
