Your DSH agent finishes a turn, hits an error, or waits for an approval in the very window you have switched away from. If the only way to notice is to keep staring at the page, productivity suffers. dsh-hybrid-notify splits notification delivery into three parallel channels—in-page toast, PWA system notification, and browser notification—and automatically picks the best one based on window visibility, so a signal reaches you whether or not you are looking at the DSH UI.

Sound effects are synthesized live with the Web Audio API: a warm major-third ascending chord on success, a minor descending figure on error, a 440 Hz double pulse for warnings, and a soft two-note bell for info. No audio files, no network requests; every piece of data comes from the local session snapshot and localStorage. Event-level and channel-level toggles let you fine-tune which event uses which channel, whether sound plays, and whether the notification stays in the tray until dismissed. Approval requests and agent errors are sticky by default.
