Most desk pets are a single static image faking motion with translate and scale. dsh-agent-pet goes further: one generation paints a 6x8 sprite sheet, eight states with six frames each, from a paw tapping its chin while thinking, to a side-run loop while a tool executes, to a head-tilt and blink when it waits for your approval, all advanced by CSS steps() so neither the browser nor the host ever decodes the image pixels. Out of the box a hand-written SVG cloud-cat named Momo breathes in the corner: no network call, no API key. When you want a different look, type an 8-to-800-character description and hit Start Drawing, or copy the self-contained prompt into Midjourney, Jimeng, or Nano Banana, save the transparent sprite sheet, and upload it the plugin counts rows and columns from the transparency gaps on its own.

Zero runtime dependencies. It never reads conversation text, tool arguments, credentials, or API keys; it only observes Agent lifecycle events and tool names. It respects prefers-reduced-motion, persists position and visibility across page refreshes and full restarts, and accepts only validated PNGs. This is for DSH users who would rather watch a little creature working alongside their Agent than stare at a terminal log, for tinkerers who enjoy swapping between pixel, sticker, plush, flat-vector, and 3D-toy styles, and for anyone who wants a tiny bit of whimsy in the corner of the screen without installing another app or paying for an image API.
