Spinning LaTeX math into Word or WPS documents inside a DSH workflow has always been a manual chore: pandoc round-trips, format tweaks, equation numbering, batch runs — each step error-prone and hard to roll back. dsh-latex2office collapses that entire pipeline into a few tool calls: insert formulas into an existing .docx or .pptx, generate a brand-new .docx from a formula list, and render a single equation to a PNG preview before you commit. In .docx the default output is native OMML — double-click and keep editing in Word or WPS's equation editor. In .pptx the default is a high-resolution image for maximum compatibility, with a per-entry override back to OMML when needed. Batch insertion is strictly atomic: a single bad LaTeX string or a missing anchor leaves the document byte-for-byte untouched; fix the entry and resend. Each equation can carry an academic label typeset with tab stops — formula centred, number flush right — so you skip the manual layout dance. The first write spawns a .bak copy, every write is followed by a read-back count verification, and complex constructs like aligned, cases, and matrices are auto-mapped to their OMML equivalents. Inline insertion and multi-anchor positioning are also supported. It is best suited for researchers, educators, and technical writers who compose formulas in LaTeX but deliver in Word or WPS — anyone who wants the "get the math in cleanly" step taken off their plate.
