DeepSeek Harness already gives you full Session management and a polished Web workflow, but if you want one agent preset to run on the OpenAI official Codex App Server, gaining Codex's model loop, native tools, sandbox approvals, hidden history, and compaction, dsh-embedded-codex is the external Bundle built for that. It does not replace DSH; it simply adds a Codex-mode preset so DSH keeps handling Sessions, Web/API, conversation traces, persistence, and token display, while every other preset stays untouched.

The division of labor is clean: Codex owns model inference, tool invocation, and sandbox policy; DSH owns session lifecycle, UI, and data. In Codex mode the permission selector offers three stable strategies: Ask for approval (executes in-workspace directly, asks before going online or out of bounds), Approve for me (routes qualifying out-of-bound calls to automatic review), and Full access (disables sandbox and approval entirely). Switching permissions only takes one selection inside the Session and takes effect by the next turn at the latest, with no need to recreate the session.

This plugin suits developers who already manage multi-agent workflows in DeepSeek Harness and want to plug Codex native capabilities into one of their Sessions. All you need is a signed-in ChatGPT Codex account; no DEEPSEEK_API_KEY is required.
