When a conversation drifts off-topic or a task is well enough scoped to deserve its own thread, the model can only ask you to do it. dsh-session-pilot turns that entire class of actions into model-callable tools, letting session housekeeping happen naturally mid-conversation instead of as an afterthought.

The plugin exposes five tools covering the full lifecycle: creating, renaming, listing, reading, and archiving sessions. new_conversation is the standout—it spins up a zero-history session carrying only a single, self-contained first user message, rather than forking the full chat prefix. Two official-slot buttons round out the UX: a “∑ New chat” button in the session header for one-click blank conversations, and a “⋉” action on every finalized assistant message that carries its text bounded to 4,000 characters as a context excerpt into a brand-new conversation, with no copy-paste required.
