When AI helps with network operations, the most annoying part is not writing the command but shuttling between a chat window and an SSH terminal. dsh-terminal-manager puts the terminal right inside the DeepSeek Harness conversation: you and the AI share the same pool of SSH / Telnet sessions, so the AI can connect to a device, send a command, and read the output without ever leaving the chat. Multiple sessions lay out side-by-side in xterm.js with 1 / 2 / 3-column layouts, keeping a router and two switches in view at once.

On the file side, the plugin places your local workspace and the remote device filesystem next to each other. Browse, upload, download, drag-and-drop transfer with progress bars, conflict handling (overwrite, skip, rename), and partial-file protection so an interrupted transfer never leaves a half-file behind. The built-in CodeMirror 6 editor offers syntax highlighting, multi-tab editing, CSV table rendering, and one-click distribution of TC scripts to numbered terminals.

Extra capabilities include TCP / UDP port mapping with persistent config and live traffic stats, session sharing over TCP to other clients, a command guard that intercepts destructive patterns like rm -rf /, and per-session log rotation.
