The DSH composer area is the region you stare at the longest during a session, and its default styling often feels slightly disconnected from the rest of the interface. The built-in backdrop blur only covers the input box itself, while the task checklist, the scroll-to-bottom floating button, and the bottom capsule that merges session stats with token usage each carry their own solid background, making the whole zone look like several unrelated panels stitched together.

dsh-composer-glass takes a unified-material approach: a single, evenly translucent frosted-glass layer now covers the input box, the task checklist (whether collapsed or expanded), the floating button, and the bottom glass capsule all at once. There is no longer a question of where the blur starts and stops; the entire composer area presents one consistent, airy texture. The toggle lives under Settings > General as a simple on/off dropdown, and your choice persists across page refreshes and DSH restarts.

It is a great fit for users who value visual cohesion and want the composer to feel soft and translucent under both dark and light themes. There is no configuration to write: flip the switch and the effect is immediate. After uninstalling, manually remove the composer-glass section from settings.yaml for a completely clean state.
