About this plugin
Once a DSH agent starts running, the model can think, retry, and call tools with no resource ceiling. dsh-survival-mode adds a single global life to the entire DSH process: every step the model takes drains a shared hunger pool across all sessions. When hunger hits zero, health starts dropping; when health empties, every tool call is frozen — but chat stays alive, so you can always talk to the model, ask it to wrap up, or nudge it toward feeding itself. The core design choice: starvation paralyzes the hands, never the mouth.
The panel ships a Minecraft-style 2D gathering mini-game: an apple tree that fruits every 20 seconds, a villager with a 25% chance of dropping bread, and a crafting table for golden apples. Three presets — Easy, Normal, Hard — switch the entire rule set in one click: per-step cost, pool cap, drain rate, and the post-zero survival window all move together. Only a golden apple can revive a starved agent, keeping the crafting chain meaningful; and every user message sent while starved grants a small health bump, so you are never locked out of the conversation.
Best for multi-session users who want a resource-budget feel, developers who like turning engineering constraints into game feedback, and anyone needing a hard stop on models that loop endlessly through long tasks. State lives in memory and resets to full on restart, with no cross-process persistence.
