Running an AI in a QQ group chat tends to land on one of two extremes: a sterile Q-and-A bot, or an unbounded free-chat that ignores every social cue. dsh-plugin-qq-groupmate takes the middle road, letting the AI inside DeepSeek Harness join the group as an ordinary member with a defined personality, a memory of past conversations, and clearly configurable trigger boundaries.

The plugin connects to QQ through the OneBot 11 protocol endpoint (NapCat, Lagrange, go-cqhttp, and others), supporting both forward and reverse WebSocket. Character cards define the persona, speaking style, and sample dialogue, with SillyTavern V2 compatibility built in, and each group can independently switch characters and models without affecting the main dsh session. Multi-turn context is paired with pyramid-style long-term memory compression so impressions from the group accumulate over time, while the request prefix is kept byte-stable to maximize upstream cache hits and control token costs. Optional modules include model-triggered image generation, local GPT-SoVITS voice synthesis with separate Chinese and Japanese timbres and automatic mood-based reference switching, and a command set covering tarot, weather, stickers, and more.

It is well suited for anyone who wants a persistent, personality-driven AI group member in their own QQ groups, needs fine-grained control over triggers, context length, and per-group overrides, and is comfortable self-hosting a protocol endpoint plus any optional image or voice services. Every setting lives in the dsh configuration panel, takes effect immediately, and requires no restart.
