About this plugin
By default every chat turn in DeepSeek Harness is handled by DSH model adapters such as Paratera, DeepSeek, or Zen. If you already have the Cursor CLI signed in on this machine and want to invoke Cursor from the same web interface without switching to a separate desktop app, this plugin adds a Cursor Passthrough group to the model picker so you can route chat turns straight to the local Cursor CLI.
Once you pick a row under that group, the host intercepts the llm/stream call and runs agent acp locally, bypassing all DSH model adapters for that turn. Session title and compaction for Cursor sessions use local stubs, so no extra DSH API calls are made. A green badge in the composer confirms the passthrough mode is active; deselect the group and every other route (Paratera, DeepSeek, Zen) resumes immediately with no side effects.
Ideal for developers who already have the Cursor CLI installed and signed in and want to treat Cursor as a swappable model inside DeepSeek Harness—no separate desktop app to open, no per-task configuration to maintain, just one row in one web session.
Use Cases
- Invoke local Cursor CLI directly from the DeepSeek Harness web interface
- Switch between DSH models and Cursor per turn without launching a separate desktop app
- Pick different Cursor model rows within one session to route to distinct subagent configurations
Best For
- DeepSeek Harness users who already have Cursor CLI installed and signed in
- Developers who prefer managing multiple model routes from a single web UI
- Engineers who frequently switch between DSH models and Cursor in their workflow
