The default DSH Web GUI is functional but visually anonymous for anyone who craves more cinematic atmosphere during long coding sessions. dsh-skin-galactic-opera fills that gap by wrapping the entire front-end in a film-grade space-opera dark theme, turning every prompt-and-response cycle into a moment aboard a deep-space cockpit.

The plugin delivers its effect in three coordinated layers. A theme layer overrides every token -- backgrounds, borders, text, brand colors, state colors, scrollbars, and sidebar surfaces -- to lock in a consistent dark base. A decoration layer adds depth through a deep-space backdrop, diagonal hyperspace lanes, a central black-hole accretion disk with infall particles, a planet and elliptical satellite orbit, a rotating scanner HUD with a holographic route map, red / cyan / gold energy beams, sparse twinkling stars, comets, generic V-shape starfighter silhouettes, and a gold mission-briefing crawl panel. An interaction layer contributes pointer parallax, click energy pulses, a scanner target ping projected from the cursor, an automatic hyperspace burst after each submitted message, and a fixed bottom-right telemetry HUD. All decorative geometry is rendered inside a Shadow DOM to avoid style leakage from the host app, and the major animations are disabled when the user prefers reduced motion.

It is aimed at developers and tech enthusiasts who want a more immersive feel in daily AI-assisted work without changing their DSH workflow at all. The visual language is deliberately generic sci-fi and draws on no specific franchise. Released under the MIT license, it is free to use, fork, and extend.
