About this plugin

DeepSeek Harness ships with a fixed visual identity, and there is no built-in way to shift it toward a softer, Gemini-like layout. dsh-plugin-gemini-theme fills that gap with a zero-intrusion approach: it injects no DOM nodes, occupies no slots, and registers no services. A single stylesheet layers over the native --dsw-* design tokens of the client, transforming the overall look; uninstall it and everything snaps back to the stock appearance.

The sheet restyles a detailed set of surfaces: the conversation background and sidebar fill, sidebar capsule rows and round icon buttons, the new-chat pill, the hero greeting scale, the composer radius, fill and elevation, the blue backdrop glow, the entrance animation when a blank session opens, and the fades at both ends of scrolling regions. Both light and dark palettes are included and follow whichever theme the client resolves at runtime.

This plugin suits anyone who wants a cleaner, more distinctive visual treatment without touching a line of runtime code. It is a purely cosmetic layer: no features are added or removed, no knowledge of CSS Modules internals is required, and the rest of the stack is completely unaware that a skin is present.
