Instead of estimating from token counts, it tracks actual balance decreases, so top-ups and refunds are handled automatically and the anchor survives restarts.

Beyond the live view, the plugin ships a GitHub-style monthly heatmap alongside a per-day spending table, both persisted locally with a 90-day JSONL log so you can scroll back without touching the billing page.
