About this plugin
dsh-oauth-openai was once a dedicated client plugin in the DeepSeek Harness ecosystem, responsible for OpenAI Codex authentication and model routing. In earlier Harness versions the Codex OAuth flow was not built in, so users had to install this separate package to complete Codex account sign-in, credential persistence, token refresh, and model-endpoint routing. It existed as a standalone provider package with its own account-management UI, letting Codex users plug into Harness without extra configuration.
The plugin's core capabilities centered on the OpenAI Codex OAuth chain: exchanging an authorization code for tokens, securely persisting credentials to local storage, automatically refreshing tokens on expiry, and routing requests to the appropriate Codex model endpoint. A dedicated Codex account UI made login status and account details visible at a glance within the Harness interface.
Please note that this plugin is marked as Retired and is no longer active; it is not recommended for any new installation. Current DeepSeek Harness provides all of these capabilities natively through @deepseek-ai/dsh-llm-pi-ai. If you still have this legacy package in your profile, the correct step is to remove it and migrate to dsh-llm-pi-ai rather than swapping in another legacy package. The repository is retained solely as a migration-history reference.
