About this plugin
By default, the DSH interface applies the same typography across every panel, which can feel flat over long sessions and fails to match the visual needs of different areas—a serif for reading messages, a monospace for code blocks, a clean gothic for the sidebar. dsh-font-enhancer was built to close that gap: it splits the DSH UI into a dozen-plus pre-calibrated regions (sidebar, conversation, input, code blocks, tabs, and more), each with its own Chinese/English font, size, line-height, weight, italic toggle, and color picker. On top of per-region control you can enable a single unified font or color that cascades to all enabled regions, save the entire setup as a named theme and switch themes at will, or tap the random buttons to let the plugin pick vivid high-contrast palettes. Version 1.3 adds one-click installation of popular display fonts (LXGW WenKai, Smiley Sans, ZCOOL KuaiLe, etc.) with live download progress, so you never have to hunt for .otf files.
The plugin is entirely client-side—no backend services, no external dependencies, no build step—and works on both the browser-based Web GUI and the Electron desktop window. All settings persist in localStorage, surviving DSH restarts and plugin version bumps. The control panel is summoned via a draggable Aa floating button in the bottom-right corner, keeping the interaction path short enough for quick experimentation.
It is ideal for DSH users who care about visual comfort: developers who want distinct font stacks for code versus prose, readers who prefer a warmer typeface for long-form messages, designers who enjoy experimenting with color and typography, or simply anyone who wants their workspace to look the way they like it.
Use Cases
- Assign distinct fonts and sizes to code blocks versus prose areas

- Save several named themes and switch the entire UI look on demand
