About this plugin
During daily development with the DeepSeek API, usage, balance, and cost data are scattered across different dashboards, making it hard to glance at how many tokens a session has consumed, what you spent today, or how much balance remains without switching tabs. dsh-usage-footer consolidates all of this into a single floating coin button in the bottom-right corner of the DSH Web interface—hover or click and a frosted-glass usage panel appears instantly.
The panel is dense yet well-structured: account balance refreshes every 60 seconds with a breakdown of top-up and bonus credits; peak/off-peak status is determined in real time by Beijing time with a 24-hour bar for at-a-glance reference; per-session tokens are split into four lines (uncached input, cache hit, cache write, output) with cost estimates calculated against DeepSeek v4-pro peak/off-peak pricing. On the host side a persistent local ledger tracks daily and monthly token counts and amounts, and an optional platform token enables side-by-side comparison with the official DeepSeek platform for easy reconciliation. A single toggle in Settings turns the panel off, which stops polling and returns a disabled status from the host route.
Built for solo developers making heavy use of the DeepSeek API, tech teams watching monthly spend, and power users who want to see their bill at a glance without leaving DSH Web. The plugin never replaces or shadows official components—it registers only its own entry point, keeping the security boundary clean.
