A dedicated vividness slider raises saturation while preserving hue, so higher values produce richer, more vivid colors rather than washed-out greys. An adaptive layer keeps text legible across themes: in light mode, dark tints brighten into pale same-hue tones, and in dark mode they darken into deep same-hue shades.

All parameters persist in the dsh settings document and restore automatically after a restart. Slider interactions use optimistic local updates with batched writes, so dragging feels smooth with zero network stalls.
