About this plugin
The Laoboshi DSH desktop client previously had no built-in way to browse or preview workspace files, so users had to leave the environment and open a system file manager every time they wanted to check a directory tree or glance at a file. That constant context switching breaks the flow of work. This plugin embeds a file manager directly inside the DSH interface, bringing file exploration back into your workspace.
The v0.1.0 interface is built on native host capabilities supplied by Laoboshi Desktop, which means file listing and preview are rendered by OS-level components for a smooth, system-consistent experience. On a stock DSH Web deployment a compatibility notice appears in place of the full UI, so the plugin is designed primarily for the desktop client. The capability was originally built into Laoboshi Agent Studio and has since been extracted into a standalone plugin by its author, Modole.
If you work day-to-day with the Laoboshi DSH desktop client and frequently need to inspect workspace file structures or preview file contents, this lightweight, MIT-licensed plugin fills that gap with minimal setup and no extra dependencies.
Use Cases
- Browse workspace file trees directly within the DSH interface
- Preview file contents without switching to the system file manager
- Manage project files centrally inside the Laoboshi desktop client
Best For
- Daily users of the Laoboshi DSH desktop client
- Developers who frequently inspect workspace file structures
- Users who want file browsing integrated into their DSH workflow
