When you have several DSH sessions running at once, the AI finishes a turn or waits for your approval while you are typing docs in another tab. By the time you look back, the review prompt has been sitting unread for five minutes. dsh-voice-alert was built for exactly that eyes-off-the-screen moment.

It layers three reminders over the session: first, a short audio clip plays — one for task completion, another for a decision request; the bundled voice is a Genshin character line, and you can swap in any wav file of your choosing by replacing the assets. Second, a thin banner appears at the top of the page and fades out after six seconds, or disappears the moment you click it. Third, the instant the browser window loses focus or is minimised, a native system notification fires; clicking it jumps you straight back to the relevant DSH session.

It is aimed at developers who juggle multiple DSH sessions, constantly switch between editor, browser, and terminal, and would rather know the AI is done without staring at the screen. The plugin is tiny, touches no core DSH logic, and works the instant it is installed.
