Managing several remote servers in parallel usually means bouncing between external terminals or browser tabs, which breaks your flow inside DSH conversations. dsh-ssh-hub embeds a Wave Terminal-style floating window directly into the DSH Web GUI overlay layer, so you can drive multiple SSH sessions without ever leaving the chat page. The window drags, resizes, and maximizes with a double-click, keeping every interaction in place.

The experience is built around three tiers. First, tabs: each tab is one session with a live status dot and an unread-output pulse, switchable via Alt+1 through Alt+9. Second, groups (workspaces): drag one tab onto another to merge them into side-by-side panes, adjust divider ratios by dragging, reorder members, magnify a single pane to fill the window, or dissolve the group back into individual tabs at any time. Groups also ship a built-in broadcast channel, letting you type a command once and execute it across every selected member, which is a real time-saver during fleet-wide inspections. Third, host-owned sessions: closing the window, refreshing the page, or switching conversations never kills a remote shell. Reopening reattaches with recent scrollback replayed, a brief network blip triggers automatic reconnection, and idle sessions are reclaimed after a configurable window (default 30 minutes). The plugin also supports four auth methods (password, private key, SSH Agent, no-auth), pre-save latency and auth pre-flight checks, theme-aware terminal palettes with a manual auto/dark/light lock, a fully configurable and validated shortcut set, and secrets stored with 0600 permissions while the API never returns plaintext credentials.
