About this plugin

As the DSH plugin ecosystem grows, the top toolbar gets cluttered with buttons injected by various plugins — Diff, Session Manager, Delete Conversation, Undo/Savepoint, and more. Toggling one or two of them off meant diving into each plugin's own settings page, which is a fragmented and tedious experience. dsh-topbar-manager consolidates this into a single entry point: open the Top Bar Manager panel, click Check to scan every plugin-injected button currently in the toolbar, then flip simple ON/OFF switches to show or hide each one. No more hopping between multiple plugin settings panels.

All visibility settings are persisted in the DSH profile, so they survive page refreshes and reopens — configure once, stay in effect. The plugin identifies each button by its source plugin or container, deduplicates entries from the same plugin, and safely ignores native DSH buttons or any button whose origin cannot be confirmed. Currently supported buttons include Diff from dsh-checkpoint-diff, Session Manager and Delete Conversation from dsh-session-manager, Undo/Restore/Savepoint from dsh-undo-savepoint, and Session Changes from dsh-what-changed.

This plugin is ideal for advanced DSH users who have installed several feature plugins and want to keep the top bar clean and uncluttered. If you are tired of cycling through multiple settings pages just to hide a single small button, dsh-topbar-manager puts everything in one place — simple, persistent, and conflict-free.

Use Cases

  • Hide rarely-used Diff or Session Manager buttons to keep the toolbar clean
  • Scan and manage visibility of all plugin-injected toolbar buttons in one place
  • Visibility settings persist across page refreshes and reopens without reconfiguration

Best For

  • Users who have installed multiple DSH plugins and want a clean toolbar
  • Users tired of switching between multiple plugin settings panels
  • Advanced users who want centralized control over all plugin-injected UI elements
