The default DSH left sidebar offers only per-item workspace management: one-by-one deletion, one-by-one renaming, and sessions locked to the workspace where they were created. As your workspace list grows and session history accumulates, clicking through each entry becomes a real productivity bottleneck. ostar-dsh-left-sidebar fills that gap without altering any official interaction pattern—it layers bulk management, cross-workspace migration and replication, and one-click expand/collapse onto the same button row you already know.

Core capabilities include: bulk-select and delete multiple workspaces or sessions at once (with an optional cascade to remove all sessions under a workspace); inline delete buttons and a context-menu delete option (each with a confirmation bar showing the exact count being removed); migrating any session—complete with full conversation and event trail—to another workspace (the original is archived); or creating a full replica of a session in a target workspace while leaving the original untouched; and a single click to expand or collapse every workspace and session group. Deletions route through the official workspaces.delete and archiveSession services so the client store stays in sync automatically; migration and replication work by reading the full session log via a Host-side endpoint and recreating the session under the target workspace path, mirroring the official fork pipeline for data integrity. The plugin replicates every official SVG icon, theme token, status indicator, and hover-card interaction, with automatic light/dark theme adaptation.

It is built for DSH users juggling many workspaces, frequently needing to sort, archive, or reuse sessions across projects. You keep the entire official browsing experience and simply gain bulk operations and cross-workspace data transfer in the familiar interface. Uninstalling the plugin removes no workspace or session data; sessions created via migration or replication are real, persisted sessions that remain after the plugin is removed.
