About this plugin

A typical web chat window is little more than a blank canvas with plain text, lacking any visual depth or immersion. Matrix-code turns the current session into a black-background CLI terminal with one click from the sidebar: while the Agent thinks, reasoning segments fall as vertically arranged Matrix-style code rain scattered across random columns; the moment the reply body starts streaming, the rain fades into a faint katakana ambient drizzle and the text prints line by line in the terminal with a following cursor, then locks into the log. Hit F11 for fullscreen, dim the lights, and the effect hits hard.

The interaction model is fully preserved: Enter sends a message, Enter during a running turn steers it, Ctrl+C stops generation, Esc closes the page. A top control bar offers rain-speed adjustment (0.25x to 4x), ambient-rain density toggle, and session status. The CLI page shares the exact same conversation as the main view with bidirectional message sync, so nothing about your workflow changes. A pixel-art whale logo with a blue glow sits at the top as a small flourish.

This plugin is aimed at developers who love terminal aesthetics and want a memorable visual moment during demos or screen recordings, and at anyone doing vibe coding who finds plain-text chat a little flat. It is a pure client-side bundle with no server-side changes required; install and it works.
