The DeepSeek Harness web interface is fully functional but visually plain. Soft Glass UI is a pluggable visual layer that drapes the home page, conversations, trajectory, settings, menus, and dialogs in a soft glassmorphism aesthetic with both light and dark themes, adding a layer of everyday polish.

It is strictly presentational: Agent, Session, Tools, Permissions, storage, credentials, and model runtime behavior remain completely untouched. The plugin rides the supported DSH client-plugin injection path, decorating existing DOM nodes with scoped data attributes and an independent CSS module. Unloading the plugin strips every trace and restores the original interface; no core source file is ever replaced or patched. The composer caps long drafts inside its internal scroll region, preserves rounded clipping, and keeps a compact bottom safe area for the statistics line.

It suits users who want a more refined visual experience without altering a single line of functional logic, and Windows users who can manage install, uninstall, start, stop, and status through the one-click scripts at the repository root, which auto-locate the Harness directory and a working pnpm without manual setup.
