The cat is deliberately passive: its body stays fixed in place while only the head tilts subtly and the pupils glide to follow your pointer, as if it were quietly perched at the edge of your workspace watching you work. It renders inside the shell.overlay layer with position:fixed so it never participates in document flow, pointer-events:none so every click passes straight through, and a low z-index that keeps it beneath every dialog and floating widget. After installation the CLI reconciles the dependency into the bundle configuration automatically, so no manual cordis.yml edit is required and the pet appears on the next boot.

It is aimed at anyone who lives in the DeepSeek Harness Web client day to day and wants a sliver of personality in the corner of the screen without any decoration getting in the way. It does not pop up, does not block input, and does not demand interaction. It is simply there.
