About this plugin

Your dsh Agent sits on a server or a desktop, but you are rarely at the keyboard. dsh-telegram-bridge moves the entire conversation surface into Telegram: open a chat on your phone, message the bot privately or @ it in a group, and you can send instructions, read replies, and fetch results just as you would in a terminal.

It goes beyond plain chat. Inside Telegram you can list and invoke Agent skills, browse and switch working directories with buttons, create folders, receive multimodal images the Agent generates, upload files into the workspace, or push workspace files back to your phone. Access is whitelist-only by default (usernames or chat IDs), and group mode requires a mention before responding. For users in regions where Telegram is behind a proxy, a single http proxy field in the settings page is all that is needed.

If you run dsh Harness agents for day-to-day tasks and want to drop in a quick instruction, tweak a parameter, or grab a result file while commuting, on a trip, or mid-meeting, this plugin was built for exactly that workflow. Setup stays visual: paste the Bot Token, fill the whitelist, hit Test Connection, and you are done.

Use Cases

  • Top up instructions, switch models, or stop the current turn from your phone while commuting
  • Have the Agent generate charts or files mid-meeting and push them straight to your phone
  • Browse the workspace tree, create folders, and switch project context remotely
  • @ the bot in a group to coordinate multiple Agent tasks with teammates

Best For

  • Developers who run dsh Harness Agent tasks day-to-day
  • Users who want to monitor and steer Agent sessions from their phone
  • Ops or research staff who need remote file transfer and directory switching
