You are mid-conversation in DSH Web and want to listen to a podcast episode, but that usually means switching to another tab, hunting for Xiaoyuzhou, and finding the right show. dsh-xiaoyuzhou removes that friction: it injects a compact playback bar right below the chat input. Paste any Xiaoyuzhou share link and audio starts streaming through a proxy with full seek, speed control (0.75x to 2x), and a draggable volume slider—all without leaving the conversation.

For shows you return to, the plugin lets you subscribe them locally so they survive restarts; playback position is remembered per episode so you always resume where you left off. Episode shownotes are rendered safely with a whitelist of tags and proxied images. If you scan a QR code to log in, you additionally unlock keyword search, full episode pagination, paid-episode playback, and sync of your existing Xiaoyuzhou subscriptions.

The plugin also registers a podcast_play model tool, so you can simply tell the AI to play a link, a show, or a keyword-searched episode, and it will control playback—pause, skip, stop—on your behalf. It is built for people who use DSH Web daily and want to listen to podcasts in the flow of conversation, or who would like the AI to act as their podcast DJ.
