Running several sessions side by side in the DSH Web GUI, it is easy to lose track of a pending approval, a plan-review question, or a subagent asking for input that sits silently in the session list while you work elsewhere. Job failures, 429 quota hits, and transient disconnects are equally invisible. dsh-web-notify was built as an approval-attention plugin to close that gap.

It surfaces every important event across five channels at once: a WebAudio tri-tone chime, a tab-title warning and a red Favicon badge, a native OS notification (click to jump and focus the session), a corner notification dock with a live count and one-tap "Handle" links, and a PWA taskbar badge. The detection pipe covers pending approvals, plan-reviews, questions, session and subagent completions, job failures, model or tool runtime errors (429, max-tokens, interrupted), and disconnects. When the page is visible and the event belongs to the currently open session, the chime and OS notify are silenced so you are not startled by your own screen; switching tabs or minimising restores the full surface. Every setting hot-reloads with a 120 ms debounce, so changes take effect immediately without restarting dsh web.

Designed for teams and solo developers who run multi-session workloads, use subagent delegation, and live in approval-heavy workflows. It also works well alongside AI coding tools such as TRAE or Cursor, pulling approval signals out of sandboxed environments and onto your desktop where you can actually see and hear them.
