About this plugin
Want a voice chat with DeepSeek from your phone or tablet without installing another app? dsh-mobile-voice-call turns that into a single QR-code scan: open a temporary HTTPS page in your mobile browser, pick an existing session, grant the microphone, and the call starts. No APK, no separate client, no extra store account.
The entire audio pipeline runs locally on the PC. The phone records audio and streams it back through a Cloudflare Quick Tunnel, where whisper.cpp performs offline transcription. DeepSeek replies are synthesized sentence by sentence by Hojo-TTS-Light and pushed to the phone the moment the first clause is ready, rather than waiting for the full turn to finish. Throughout the call, the underlying DSH session retains full access to DSH tools, so the assistant can still operate your computer or organize files. The plugin itself is a thin Web layer: session state, language, and light/dark theme all follow DSH settings, keeping long-term maintenance to a minimum.
This is a good fit if you already run DSH on Windows x64 and want a hands-free way to check in with your AI assistant while away from the keyboard. A few caveats: the tunnel address is temporary without a fixed domain, traffic transits through Cloudflare and is not end-to-end encrypted, the call is turn-based rather than full-duplex, and high-risk tool confirmations are best handled back on the PC. Treat it as a convenient experimental feature rather than a secure channel for sensitive work.
