About this plugin
Out of the box, DeepSeek Harness Web ships with a single official light theme. Wanting a different palette or a background image used to mean digging through CLI commands, hand-editing front-end files, and restarting the service — with a jarring white flash every time you refreshed. dsh-client-ui-theme-manager moves the entire theming workflow into the Settings > Dream Skin panel: click a theme card and it applies instantly, survives refreshes and window reopens without a single flash of the official light theme, and never requires a terminal.
Ten curated styles are built in — from Wealthy Gold and Deep-Space Red to Polar Night Blue, Sakura Pink, and Graphite Grey — and you can also create fully custom palettes, import DreamSkin theme packs (.zip or theme.json), and export a backup of the current theme. Background images are auto-compressed to 1600 px with a safe-zone text overlay; without one, a gradient derived from the theme color is generated automatically. Pause reverts to the official look while preserving your memory, Resume restores the last choice, and a lightweight health check flags broken background class names after a dsh upgrade.
It is built for anyone who uses DeepSeek Harness Web daily and wants visual personalization without touching the command line. The plugin has zero npm dependencies and runs on dsh 0.1.0-rc.6 or later with Chrome or Edge 111+ (or any browser with native DecompressionStream support for .zip import).
