About this plugin
Switching tabs back and forth to check DeepSeek platform usage while working in the DSH Web GUI breaks your flow. dsh-cost-widget pins the numbers you care about most to the corner of your browser, so you can glance at spend without leaving your workspace.
The default form is a compact floating bar showing today's spend, cache hit rate, and peak or off-peak status. Click to expand a full panel with per-million-token costs for V4-Flash and V4-Pro, a cache hit-rate progress bar, request count, total daily cost, overall hit rate, and account balance. The header marks whether it is currently peak or off-peak hours. Drag the title bar to reposition the panel; the position is remembered via localStorage. It auto-refreshes every five minutes, and you can also refresh manually.
Data comes from the same internal JSON APIs that power the official usage page on platform.deepseek.com. The plugin registers only a read-only, loopback-only local endpoint; the session token is resolved through the credential pipeline at request time and is never written to disk or echoed back. Non-local calls receive a 403. Built for DeepSeek developers who live in the DSH Web GUI, teams that track cost and cache performance in real time, and anyone who wants platform usage folded into their daily workflow.
Use Cases
- Glance at today's token spend and cache hit rate in the corner while drafting prompts in DSH Web GUI
- Confirm account balance before kicking off the next batch of requests on a shared dev machine
- Compare peak vs off-peak pricing and schedule long-running batch jobs into the cheaper window
Best For
- DeepSeek developers who work in the DSH Web GUI daily
- AI application teams that track cost and cache performance in real time
- Individual users who want platform usage metrics in their everyday workflow
