About this plugin

You kick off a long compile, wait for an integration suite, or watch an Agent task spin in the background — those idle gaps in a DSH session are the hardest to kill. DSH Tea Break turns that waiting time into a local game parlor inside your existing DSH Web interface: three curated mini-games under a shared late-night harbor theme, plus an original companion character named Lan Yin who crosses over from table to table. No extra browser tab, no sign-up, no ads. Tap the floating widget to start a hand; tap it again to freeze the board; come back later and pick up exactly where you left off.

The games carry real depth. Whale Cards is a full Gin Rummy implementation — three-hand matches, complete knock, Gin, undercut, and layoff scoring. Harbor Duel is an original three-lane formation contest where you deploy same-suit runs and triplicate sets to seize two beacons. Tide Collection is a three-round push-your-luck race to gather Moon Pearls, Red Corals, Lanterns, and Star Charts while dodging storms, reefs, and back-currents. Every title ships with a deterministic local AI, so Classic Mode plays entirely offline with zero token cost and zero network calls. If you want a more alive opponent, Agent Mode spins up a dedicated DSH Agent Session per game to act as Lan Yin — it chooses from legally generated moves and generates personality, while all state changes, scoring, and win/loss are still enforced by the local rules engine. If the model is unavailable, it degrades gracefully to local AI without stalling or corrupting your save.

Made for DSH developers who do not want to just stare at a progress bar: play a few hands while a build runs in the background, and when the task finishes or needs input you get exactly one non-blocking notification that never steals focus or pauses your game. No accounts, no telemetry, no online matchmaking; all progress lives in browser local storage and model credentials stay on the DSH Host side. If you enjoy the tactical thinking of card games and the comfort of a companion with memory and personality, this tea break is waiting for you at the harbor.
