The surge ranking combines local Star-baseline deltas with a 30-day push-activity weight, so plugins that are genuinely being developed float to the top. The curated thematic leaderboard parses community lists such as awesome-dsh-plugin and buckets entries by tags like UI, tools, memory, workflows, vision, and multimodal. Each card carries a one-line README summary, Star count, growth delta, and a one-click install button, turning discovery into deployment in a single tap.

When GitHub rate limits kick in, the panel shows a countdown, retries automatically, and falls back to the last cached view. Search, curated-list, and README-validation results are cached for 1 hour, 6 hours, and 24 hours respectively, so the experience stays continuous.
