About this plugin

When you drive an Agent through the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI, its internal states—reasoning, executing tool calls, waiting for your approval, or hitting an error—usually live only in log lines and progress bars. dsh-pet-frieren drops a chibi Frieren right next to your workspace and maps every one of those states to a dedicated animation plus a short speech bubble, turning abstract console rhythms into visible character reactions you can glance at.

She is far from a static sticker. During idle she waves on her own every twelve to thirty seconds and occasionally hops; a single click makes her wave, a double-click sends her jumping, and you can drag her anywhere (the position is remembered across sessions). Hover reveals a tiny ✕ to tuck her away, and a small badge lets you summon her back. The plugin also honours prefers-reduced-motion, so users who dislike constant animation only see a static frame of the current state.

Built as a self-contained DOM overlay with requestAnimationFrame and no React dependency, it plugs straight into the dsh web profile and installs in one command. It is a small delight for developers who run long multi-turn Agent sessions and want a tiny companion on the desk, and an extra treat for fans of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End who appreciate a well-kept chibi sprite following the model through think, act, wait, and fail.
