Paste the following prompt into your AI chat to install this plugin:

Run dsh plugin install imdeniil/dsh-locale-ru in the DeepSeek Harness terminal; the source is hosted at https://github.com/imdeniil/dsh-locale-ru . After installation, select «Русский» under Settings → Language, or simply restart the app with a Russian system locale to auto-activate.

About this plugin

DeepSeek Harness ships with only Chinese and English as official UI languages, leaving Russian-speaking users to navigate sessions, model settings, and plugin management entirely in English. dsh-locale-ru closes that gap by providing a full Russian (ru) localization layer across the entire product surface.

The plugin registers dictionaries across 30 namespaces and 849 string entries via DSH's public locale.register API. Coverage spans sessions and workspaces, model and plugin settings, agent presets, theme and permissions, the conversation and tools panel, sub-agents, workflows, trajectories, tasks, skills, goals, beta-testing notifications, folder-picker dialogs, and the full community plugin market flow — from browsing the catalog to installing, removing, and toggling plugins. Once installed, the language selector safely gains a «Русский» entry at runtime, and if the browser locale is detected as Russian (or Belarusian) without the user having explicitly chosen another language, the interface switches to Russian automatically. Any key not yet present in the dictionary falls back to the primary Chinese locale, so nothing breaks on partial coverage.

If you think and write in Russian, want terminology that matches your native phrasing rather than a machine translation, or you are part of a team with multiple Russian-speaking members, this plugin lets you skip the translation layer and work through everything — from daily conversation to plugin administration — in a language that feels like your own.

Use Cases

  • Native Russian-speaking developers want to run DSH sessions and settings in their own language
  • Teams with multiple Russian members need a unified interface without a translation layer
  • Browsers set to Russian automatically get a native-language UI with no manual switching

Best For

  • Developers and technical writers who work in Russian
  • DSH user teams that include Russian-speaking members
  • Russian users who want to eliminate the friction of reading English UI copy
