The Petdex Market plugin brings the petdex.dev community catalog of nearly five thousand pets directly into a dedicated tab in DSH Settings, so you can search, sort, and browse between debugging sessions and adopt a little companion that keeps your agent company.

The experience works in three layers: the market layer talks straight to the petdex.dev API with name, species, and author search plus five sort orders and pagination; the management layer uses a single-active-buddy model so installing a pet activates it instantly, deleting one auto-switches to the next, and every setting hot-reloads without a restart; the render layer is a native transparent, always-on-top Swift/AppKit window where the pet wanders along the bottom of your screen, responds to dragging, and scales from 0.4 to 2.5 times. When the agent starts a turn it begins to run, and when a reply lands it waves and shows a speech bubble capped at 120 characters. All spritesheets are proxied through the server so the WebView preview has zero CORS friction, and the in-memory cache can be cleared with one click.
