About this plugin

Writing a character card hits a wall the moment the blank editor opens up. You have a vague image in your head — a memory-pawnshop owner in a rain-soaked city, a wandering tuner in a cyberpunk wasteland — but when the chara_card_v3 schema demands a description, personality, scenario, system prompt, Lorebook entries, and greetings, most of it is still air.

dsh-cc-studio turns that gap into a structured dialogue. Switch to the built-in CC mode and the LLM becomes a co-creation partner constrained to a six-step workflow: it must ask one or two open-ended questions before filling each block (character quartet, five-dimension worldbuilding, Lorebook entries, greetings, final validation), and is explicitly forbidden from dumping a full card without your input. The five world dimensions (timeline, factions, geography, power system, daily life) auto-generate Lorebook entries with @@position and @@depth tags the moment you save. Every long-text field comes with a 720 px expandable editor so you are never stuffing multi-line paragraphs into a 70 px box. Once cc_validate passes, the card exports as JSON, embeds into any PNG via the tEXt ccv3 chunk, or packages into a CHARX (ZIP) archive — all three formats import directly into SillyTavern or Risu.

The plugin is ideal for character-card authors who have the spark but not the structure. State what you want in one sentence, and the plugin plus the LLM handle the scaffolding, Lorebook bookkeeping, and spec validation. The built-in library sidebar supports ID-based in-place updates, save-as, and renaming, while six model-side Tools let you say update ID xxxx in plain language and have it persist to disk without touching the UI.

Use Cases

  • Turn a one-line idea into a full CCv3 charcard via six-step LLM dialogue
  • Build a five-dimension worldbuilding charcard with auto-generated Lorebook for SillyTavern or Risu
  • Update, save-as, and rename stored charcards by ID using natural language with the LLM

Best For

  • Character-card authors who have ideas but lack structural execution
  • Active SillyTavern or Risu users
  • Character designers who prefer LLM-guided dialogue over manual form-filling
