In the DSH Web GUI, when a root agent finishes a task its status simply flips from running to idle, and the interface offers no visual cue that the result is ready. dsh-whale-celebration turns that quiet moment into a small ritual: the official DeepSeek whale leaps from the bottom of the page, sprays a column of water for exactly three seconds, and sinks back down like a brief applause.

Three design choices keep the plugin restrained yet practical. Triggering is precise, celebrating only the root agent you talk to directly while sub-agent completions stay silent to avoid noise. The overlay is fully non-intrusive, using pointer-events: none so no click is ever blocked, and the colour palette automatically follows the current light or dark theme via the --dsw-alias-brand-primary variable. Counting is reliable, with up to three whales spraying side by side for rapid consecutive completions, tasks finished while the browser was closed replayed once on return (up to 12 queued), and multiple tabs sharing the same counter so nothing plays twice.

It is aimed at developers who routinely dispatch tasks to a DSH root agent and would like a lightweight positive feedback loop without altering any functional behaviour. The plugin adds a single, small celebratory gesture to your screen and nothing else.
