Switching between multiple model providers in the dsh Web interface often means hunting through separate vendor dashboards to confirm remaining balance or quota before sending the next message. dsh-usage-display pins a compact usage badge to the session header; a single click expands a detail panel, so you can check credits and quota windows without ever leaving the chat.

Three adapters ship out of the box: DeepSeek multi-currency balance, MiniMax Token Plan quotas, and Zhipu GLM Coding Plan quotas. Each provider maintains its own cache with full fault isolation, so a slow endpoint never blocks the others. Configurable warn and critical thresholds paint the badge yellow or red as limits approach, and percent-based metrics can render as a mini bar, a ring, or plain text depending on your preference. The Settings page applies changes instantly—the host rebuilds its runtime and refetches data on save, with no restart required.

Built for dsh users who rotate between several providers and want an at-a-glance view of remaining usage and reset timers. API keys never cross the wire to the browser; the host resolves credentials locally on every fetch, keeping all secrets on the server side.
