DSH's Web GUI only honours the three built-in appearance presets (light, dark, system). Any third-party theme you set lives in memory and silently reverts to the default palette on the next page refresh. dsh-TheWanderingEarthII sidesteps that limitation with a theme.overrideTokens overlay that sits on top of whatever theme is currently active, so the look persists across refreshes and appearance switches with no extra toggling—install it and it simply stays.

The visual language is drawn from The Wandering Earth II. A transparent planetary-engine illustration is anchored behind the input area: when a session is running the nozzle fires a sustained blue plasma column with rising sparks, and when it stops the column extinguishes leaving only a faint blue shimmer, each transition smoothed by a 1.2-second cross-fade. An always-on HUD layer adds starfield particles, energy lines, hull-tick rulers, and a blueprint grid on top. The send and stop buttons are restyled purely in CSS into a MOSS red-eye that shifts between grey (idle), steady blue (input ready), and breathing blue (running) while fully preserving the original click behaviour. A dedicated light-mode artwork set (ice-plain daylight variants) keeps contrast healthy on light backgrounds. Every small UI element—caret, kbd caps, table rules, code panels, blockquotes—receives an industrial cold-blue treatment.
