About this plugin

The built-in light and dark themes in DSH Web are cool-toned, which can strain the eyes during extended sessions. dsh-eye-care swaps them for six warm semantic colour schemes applied through named tokens for backgrounds, text, buttons, code blocks, scrollbars, and Shiki syntax — no global sepia filter or image transforms involved, so the layout stays crisp while the palette turns gentle.

You get four operating modes (Off, Auto, Light, Dark) crossed with three warmth levels (Soft, Balanced, Warm), yielding six registered themes. Native Appearance always stays authoritative: picking Light, Dark, or System in the OS or browser takes over and switches eye care off automatically. Local sessions persist the choice in Host settings; remote browser sessions keep it process-local, keeping both sides in sync without conflict.

It is built for developers who live in the DSH Web UI for long stretches, readers who prefer warmer interfaces, and anyone who wants the comfort of a warm palette without losing a single piece of functionality.
