The DSH web terminal is powerful, yet its out-of-the-box interface carries a stubborn factory-blue identity: a fixed palette, locked panel positions, and a visual language that turns monotonous under daily use. dsh-ui-beautify works exclusively at the appearance layer, touching no core logic, so the moment you open a session the interface already feels like yours.

Three pillars anchor the experience. First, four hand-tuned color presets (Default, Deep Sea, Warm Sand, Jade Green), each with dedicated light and dark mode variants; global accent elements such as folder icons, loading spinners, tab highlights, and links all follow the chosen palette with a single click, or revert instantly to the native DSH blue. Second, full-page background images: upload a local file, the plugin auto-compresses it to a maximum of 2560 px on the longest edge, applies a readability overlay, and fills both the sidebar and the main pane. Third, the visually striking VSCode-style card layout engine: the sidebar, conversation panel, and dock card can be dragged into frosted-glass floating windows or snapped to any of five regions (top, bottom, left, center, right); each region holds one card and the incumbent is gently pushed into floating mode, auto-returning when the slot frees up; eight-way resize handles and a sidebar collapse gesture complete the interaction model.

Every preference persists in the browser localStorage, surviving page refreshes and DSH restarts without a hitch; uninstalling the plugin strips all injected styles on the next hard refresh, leaving zero residue.
