dsh-gomoku

Many plugins bring AI into work: writing code, summarizing notes, or handling repetitive tasks. dsh-gomoku takes a more playful turn by bringing AI into a board game. It adds a 15×15 Gomoku panel to the DSH sidebar, where you can choose a model to play black or white—or set two models against each other. Instead of using a traditional search engine, every move is produced through the model’s own reasoning, making the game feel like a live test of how well an AI can evaluate a position.

Its value goes beyond simple amusement. The plugin supports human-versus-AI and AI-versus-AI matches, with separate model and reasoning settings for black and white. Each side’s thought process can appear beside its controls, collapsed by default and expandable move by move. The black and white system prompts are also editable, which makes it useful for observing how prompt design changes aggression, defense, and pattern recognition. You can pause to take over a move manually, or close the board overlay while the match continues in the background.
